The questionnaires that you are going to do can help you to understand how you deal with your emotions and us to understand better how people process emotions in the daily life for our research aims.

Informed Consent for participants
About the research project I would like to invite you to be part of this study, which will help us understand how healthy people deal with their emotions in their daily life. This could be useful in understanding the role of emotions in physical and psychological well-being. Furthermore the results will be compared with other cultures in a cross-cultural study. Do I have to take part? Taking part in this research is entirely voluntary and involves no extra appointments or financial costs. You do not have to take part or explain why you do not wish to. You may also withdraw from the questionnaire filling at any time, without giving a reason, simply clicking on EXIT to come back on main page. Will my taking part in this study be kept confidential? All information you give will be anonymous because we don’t need to know your name, and all your answers will be kept secure and in strictest confidence. What are the possible benefits of taking part? The information collected will help us to understand better the relationship between emotional deficits and health and will help you to understand better about your emotions with the feedbacks that you will receive after questionnaire filling. What do I have to do? If you decide to participate you can complete the questionnaire regarding your emotions. This questionnaire is constitutes to different sections and at the end of each section completed it is possible to have a feedback about your results. The first section is regarding some your demographic data; with the second section you will start a questionnaire regarding your emotions in the last week (33 items); the third section is about a questionnaire (24 items) on depressive symptoms and the fourth one (20 items) is regarding a questionnaire on anxiety symptoms. You can decide to withdrawn at any time or at the end of any section without necessarily to complete all questionnaires. Using again your log in you can decide to complete it later. If you want to fill again the questionnaire from begin you have to create another log in. It will take around 5 minutes each section. There is no time limit, please take all the time you need. Sincerity is fundamental filling in the questionnaires. It is important to answer to all questions; no write or wrong answers exist. Who has reviewed this study? The study has been approved by the School of Health and Social Care Research Ethics Committee. What will happen to the findings? The data will be stored in a large database for later analysis.
